Its happining all over the nation. Arden fair mall jewelry stores has been hit in daylight like 3 times that I know of recently. Davis was hit last month. Their is a group that that has hit tens of stores from the bay area all the way to sacramento over the past few years. Um, this type of jewelry store robbery is very common. DMZ, the robbers were wearing sports team apparel, but it was red, white, and blue, so it wasn't Kings' stuff -- so they'll probably vote "no" in November too. (And no, it wasn't the old school Kings' red, white, and powder blue.) It was on the Q58 10pm news last night, but it was on after the 2nd commercial break, and it was maybe a 15 second story, tops.

It also says that they had a car waiting for them -- since when can you just idle in your car right in front of the mall? I saw one guy (a citizen) chasing after them after they left the store and were heading outside, but there was no sign of security. So far there is a Bee Metro section story (page 3) and CBS13 (is that where you saw it on the news?) Nothing on News 10 or KCRA as far as I can see.
