This show is friggin great! the name alone is a huge half-witted attempt at cleverness. secondly, i don't think republicans (the target audience) have a sense of humor, being it's something you trade in along with your soul when you check that box. i also find it creepy that surnow is the producer, however not that surprised being that the republican presidential candidates love jack bower and secretly meet every week to watch 24 like my little sister did when Gilmore Girls was on television. hasn’t faux news been airing fake news from it’s inception. That is a pretty damed good spoof, and not at all representative of what the "1/2 Hour News Hour" has to offer. I've seen it and it is a comedy nursing home fire. The jokes and the attemped bits are so tired and cliched and obvious that it makes me cringe. The strangest thing is that the producer of the show is Joel Surnow, who is one of the creators of "24' and if there's one thing that 24 is known for, it's not comedy. In fact, can you think of another show on television that has had less levity in the last 6 or 7 years? The piece you quoted, however, is almost up to the standards of "The Onion" which are pretty high standards indeed. Yay, FauxPaws!
