When do you think the Feds will implement the Amero currency?
Do you think the Amero will be just as worthless as the current dollar? Do you think things will be far worse if they do bring in the Amero?

What things can we expect to see (economy, society, housing, food, energy, foreign relations ect..) when they do bring in the Amero?

If I were you I would start buying gold and silver coins which I am.
Because those coins will be worth more than the dollar and the Amero.

Without knowing anything about the North American Union conspiracy (if that is what it is even called), I guess I could see a unified government between at least the US and Mexico. Seems fairly plausible to me. Not like it would happen in the next 10 years, but perhaps in 50-60. It seems with the heavy Latin American immigration rate into the US, along with the desire to grant amnesty to those here illegally, present the opportunity for the voting demographic in the US to be dramatically different. So things like NAFTA which have seen large levels of criticism in the past, might be more likely to be embraced.

There is a talk show host on a Bay Area radio station that sometimes mentions a North American Union. When the topic is illegal immigration, he says, "Why not tear down the border, and have a North American Union?"

The Mexicans who want to come here always end up here anyway.

People who seem intelligent otherwise will sometimes fail badly when it comes to Occam's Razor— which, in essence, states that the simple explanation is usually true. I'm not quite sure why that is, but it certainly explains conspiracy theories.

I have a friend once who totally shocked a coworker. The coworker had read The DaVinci Code and was treating it like non-fiction instead of fiction. My friend, who had heard nothing about it, listened to the rant and rave for only a couple of minutes and said, brightly, "Oh, you mean the Opus Dei stuff?" "You've read it?" "No, but..." and then proceeded to demolish the conspiracy theory in a few well-phrased sentences which happened to directly refute the plot of a book she'd never read.

A lot of conspiracy types don't realize that the New! Shocking! Conspiracy! has usually been around in one form or another for some time... and the longevity usually disproves the conspiracy. The North American Union conspiracy has been around since NAFTA, at least. If they were going to do anything about it, you'd think we'd have noticed by now.

It's always the normal seeming people, isn't it? They could go one of two ways once they're not as normal seeming:

1. Conspiracy theorist/enthusiast of things one would ordinarily not be enthusiastic about/fitting into the category of "general nutcase"

or

2. Amway

It reminds me of the time a guy said to me, "you know, I've been crusified 45 times". I say, "wow..that must have hurt", he said, "no..after that many times you build up scar tissue and it doesn't hurt".

Wow..good to know. A thick skin is needed sometimes.
