You have to say “What” like a self-satisfied rapper to truly get a feel for what the DSP did last year. At least I think that’s what they’re trying to say?

Give the DSP (Downtown Sacramento Partnership) a break…think small non profit trying to do some cool stuff for the community.

What event do you produce that supports local bands and brings thousands of people into the heart of Downtown 15 weeks out of the year?

A couple things of note on the lineup. The Kevin Seconds show is a Kevin and Kepi theme. Both have CDs coming out on Asian Man Records around the same time, both will be fronting two of the four bands at the show. That should be fun. And if you like ripping fast punk rock and haven’t seen the Altruistics this is a band you have to see.

Second, I think it’s very cool that Sal Valentino will be playing the park. If you haven’t seen Sal, check him out.

Also good to see that Lite Brite will be out there. Good young band that is new to the local scene.
