OK, Now I’m Convinced the Housing Market Sucks

Preet is Neat

A prominent billboard on 16th Street featuring the smiling, trustworthy face of Preet Kalirai, your CalPERS certified mortgage agent has been replaced by an advertisement for Lucca Restaurant. And here I thought Preet, with her market savvy, finance acumen, and ethnically ambiguous good looks, was recession proof. None of us is immune.

Sic transit gloria mundi!
I was just looking at Preet’s pearlies Saturday on the way back from the dog park and thinking how if I were in the market for some real estate, I’d want Preet to show me around.

Oh well. Maybe when I drive down 16th from now on, I’ll ruminate on the mussels at Lucca. Probably not though.

Preet is sexy. I always am in awe of that giant sexy woman towering over me as I drive up 16th. I think a billboard of her in a bikini would be better business though

I’ve been told that Preet is even preetier in person. I always wondered whether she paid for that spot herself, or did Countrywide take a look around the office and make an obvious choice?

As someone who does this for a living (advertising), let me assure you that Countrywide took a look around their office and made an obvious choice. We do it all the time. My experience has been that those ‘chosen ones’ (especially for things of this size) are usually mortified to see themselves as the face of the company they work for.
