That’s right. Fieri, celebrity chef and questionably talented TV personality, was recently awarded the title of “Douchebag of the Month,” on the popular website Hot Chicks With Douchebags.
We might have to start a whole Fieri category here at the ‘Rag, what with his shameless whoring for the competition to his own local restaurant, his intentional assitude in inviting the whole nation to the Squeeze Inn, and his restaurant’s continued spotty food (except for those “Vegas Fries”–God, they’re good).

I detest those TGI Fridays commercials. As soon as they come on I flip the channel as fast as I can. Douchebag, indeed.

Sorry, gotta disagree about those vegas fries. Just way too overcooked for my “fries” preference. I’d ratehr just have plain french fries topped with hotwing sauce. Better yet, give me some cucumber wasabi ranch from Manderes to dip my fries.

But you have to overcook them if you want them to stay crunchy once they’ve been coated in buffalo sauce. It’s the genius of the recipe.

I went to his Johnny Garlic’s in Windsor recently. meh. Overpriced and unimpressive. And he is opening one in Roseville soon…

Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives is one of the few shows on FN that I watch. I like him, on that show.
I went to Johnny Garlic’s when I lived in Santa Rosa. It was my first time eating a whole roasted head of garlic. That’s all I remember about it.
I am bummed that one must wait in a long line to get into the Squeeze Inn…so I don’t.

I don’t see how he can win. He constantly includes friends and local bits in his success. I wish him luck and hope that he provides for his family while having a great time for eternity.
