This is a good event, as it is generally underpublicized, so there is a lot going on at the wineries, but fewer attendees than other events like Crush or Behind the Cellar Door. Make sure to visit Convergence Vinyards, our favorite participating Amador Winery. Wineries will feature food, barrel tastings, music, educational seminars and discounts. I love me some Foothill Sangiovese and Barbera, see you on Saturday if you do, too. Saturday night, I will also be seeing local hippy band Deadlocke at the Fox and Goose. Sunday is the Woodland Hot Rod Reunion Car and Cycle Show. I dig the classic cars, but am mainly going to see local honkeytonkers Stars and Garters. I am taking advantage of my first truly free weekend in more than 2 months.
