So uh… You are a mayor now- how’s that going?

Well Stephen, it’s going very well. I get my own paking space and office, and I have a secretary, as well as a staff to solve problems.

Oh! How do you and your staff solve problems?

I mostly hit people with it. Sometimes I poke people. And I gouge cars that park too close to my spot.

Ok… Do you have a book coming out, Your Honor?

Not yet Stephen. I’ve been in talks with several people, and we might see something in a few months. For now I want to concentrate on solving California’s problems.

But aren’t you still a mayor Kevin?

Well, technically, Stephen. But this is just a stepping stone. Since I’m mayor of the capitol, I should have access to the govenator. And I can tell the code compliance department to stay away from my properties.

Have you spoken with Ah-nold about Kalifornia’s problems?

Not yet, Stephen, but I have the phone number of his staff.

Have they returned your calls?

No- I think the Govenator just sends someone to jab my car with it.

It looks like Kevin Johnson’s ambitions go far beyond “saving Sacramento”, our fair city is possibly a stepping stone that can’t or won’t be saved.
