Where was I? Hella hard to find

Where am I? These guys are hella tight.
Why do I have craving for a high quality meal at a competitive price?

This story about the UC Davis physics undergraduate trying get the word “hella” to be accepted as a unit of measure, distance, etc. is quite entertaining. The comments of course are choice. Is he the smartest dude ever? Or, is he totally stupid? Such a lame debate. Whatever.

Oh, speaking of, did anyone ever use the word “moded” when someone was embarrassed or insulted? You got moded! Just curious if that was specific to my junior high or what.

  1. Ah, just when we think you’ve graduated to not monitoring the age of stories. Not to mention the photo I shared and the comment about the slang term, etc. But, yeah, you’re cool, we’re not…yadda yadda.

  2. DMZ, someone is either older or younger than us because one also got ‘faced’ in my
junior high years . We also used the original ‘Oh Burn!’ when someone screwed up
which has been brought back for the new generation recently.

  3. I always thought “moded” or “moted” was a shortened version of “demoted”.

“Your social status has been demoted through Billy’s witty retort!”

RPE, you are allowed to spell it “psych” or “psyche”, as long as you don’t spell it “sike” or “syke”

  4. Granite Regional Park, off Power Inn Rd. Near the dog park.

One word of warning. Don’t stare at the sculptures, they may steal your socks in nightmares for years to come.

  5. Skateboarding on dogs is so wrong on so many levels. But once you get over the horror, I’ve found basset hounds to be the best for this. Low, strong short little legs. You give up speed for stability, strength, and a large platform/easy center of gravity, but better than a dachshund any day (good speed for only like 20 feet tops and then they poop out on you). Pomeranian’s are like whippets: Good for about 10 seconds of hilarious ‘boarding laughs, but then nothing but buyers’ remorse.
