This isn’t a blog post, it’s an invitation to argue.

At least we’ve still got “activist judges” to protect us from the tyranny of the majority.

that sounded like you would want a communistic rule rather than a democracy. Wake up people learn how to lose with dignity and quit stomping your feet. I did not get my way on the election process either but I can still call Barack our President and take solice in the fact that we as a majority of Americans voted and elected who we as a majority feel will lead our country in the right direction. Prop 8 was voted on and the majority has said for the second time that marriage is only between a man and a women. If you want an alternate lifestyle then you get an alternate to marriage called a civil union. The only difference between the two is one is widely recognized and familiar to everyone where the other is not widely understood so if you would put your efforts into educating people about the civil union in California then you can have your cake and eat it.

Too bad Prop 8 is unconstitutional, and that the proponents were good God fearing folks not afraid to mix religion with politics and dump millions of $$$ into negative advertising. Preaching that homosexuality would be taught to children in school was a nice touch.
