CBS13 tells us that the California Correctional Peace Officers Association is suing the state of CA on behalf of Donald Cathey, who was ordered to remove his “Just say no to Arnold” shirt while on the job at a prison (doesn’t say which). I won’t get into the messy argument of free speech for public employees, I just want to point out that demanding that your employee not wear a shirt advocating disobedience of authorities kind of makes sense when you work at a prison.
