There are many online digital photo printing shops available these days. First there was ofoto.com (later became kodakgallery or something) then snapfish.com and shutterfly.com I could go on and on. For me, however, I’ve been using walgreens.com a lot mainly because I’m cheap and they offer in store pick up (no shipping costs!) and the one hour pick up aspect is very reliable and still 19 cents a pop.
What has kept me coming back though is the great customer service I’ve received so far. When you place your order and select in store pick up you usually have the option to choose the Walgreens store closest to you, but sometimes you have to select another location based on high volume, etc. Totally understandable. As such, I’ve been to locations on Howe and Arden (I refuse to say that other phrase for this area), Fair Oaks and Marconi, and Arden & Eastern.
Janice over at the 4200 Arden Way location (Arden & Eastern) has been exceptionally helpful. I was in doubt about the one hour pick up and she encouraged me to call her at the store and ask if the photos were ready before heading over to pick them up. She also let me know that if I had a larger order to call ahead and let her know so she could monitor the machine and make sure they were done on time. Just basic customer service skills that have won me over.
And for you fellow photogs on a budget there’s nothing stopping you from creating “several” accounts in order to receive the 10 free prints offer. It’s based on email address, not name or address. Shhhhhh.
I’d better abuse this system quick before word gets out!

I’ve had good luck with EZPrints.com. They’ll even send you a printed photo that you can use to calibrate your monitor to the same photo online. (If you make your monitor look like their picture, then future pictures will look like your monitor).
4X6’s are 19 cents and 8X10’s are only two bucks. Standard disclaimer: I have nothing to gain. I’m just a happy customer.
