I’m sure we’re all safer for the Sheriff’s having busted the South Seas Massage and Tanning Parlor in north Sacramento which was operating as a whorehouse. But the KCRA report does bring up some questions.
A decoy went into the business carrying cash and wearing a wire. Authorities said 15 minutes later, the decoy was offered sex for money. …
Well that’s how you’d do it, isn’t it. Cut and dry, get in, get your collar, get out. There’s more.
Authorities said the girl touched the officer in an inappropriate way. Deputies… cited another [woman] on charges relating to improper attire for a massage therapist.
Okay, I suppose the solicitation doesn’t always come first, there must be some events leading up to the discussion of the having sex for money. Goes with the territory.
[for these types of violations] Owners’ licenses can be suspended or revoked, but in this case, the owner doesn’t have the proper licenses, authorities said.
Hmm, too bad that couldn’t have been handled first, like by entering the building and asking for a license. Tough deal for that officer who was touched in inappropriate ways by a massage “therapist” wearing inappropriate clothing who asked to have sex with him for money…he could have avoided all that mess!
Again, this is mostly just an uproariously weird article. It sounds like everything went down the way it should have–after all, Call 3 was there and Lynsey Paulo would be all over that scandal.
This story could only be improved by a fleeing suspect crashing his car into the building (with no injuries to anyone, of course).

Am I the only one who thought the place in this story was going to be about the VIP Spa on Fulton near Alta Arden (across from Target)? I’ve always wondered about that place since its “OPEN” neon light always seems to be on, yet the blinds are always drawn.

Why didn’t Sac PD just use the ads from SNR? There are 2-3 pages of ads for “erotic services”

At least they didn’t knock over “Mellow Me Out”. I’d hate to see that leopard print Hummer in the police impound lot.
