Is Dad’s Closed for Good?

No.  But every family-run business needs a family vacation.  Don’t worry, though, your favorite sandwich shop and mine will be slinging all organic veggies and prime meats again before you know it.  Dad’s will be open again on July 23rd.

  1. i’ve been meaning to go there for lunch…is it kid friendly? i’m not asking for a clown and stuff like that, but will i get dirty looks for having reproduced, like i do when my son and i go to river city? can’t a dad take his son for light rail ride and have A beer with lunch? being a dad that works nights i am with my son during the days. we like to take the light rail for rides (he screams “weeeeeee” as it takes off, and who can resist that?) i wonder what is everyone’s favorite kid friendly lunch-type-place.

  2. Well, the place is called “Dad’s”… They also have a Fat Elvis (PB and bananers) in addition to the PB&J and grilled cheese.

  3. Or how about the “All American” that has ham, cheese, pickles and potato chips in it? That’s good eatin’ right there.
