Let’s all hope this picture does not say it all for the Kings in 07-08…

Elementary my dear reader, that would be the 6’1″ Earl Watson easily grabbing the board over the ridiculous 7 footer Brad Miller. I’m no Kings expert so I’d love to hear from some of those: how ’bout those Kings, eh?
On closer look he’s probably attempting to block Watson’s lay-in. Which still begs the question of what is wrong with those jumpin sticks.

Miller needs to put some oomph in it–if he even stretched a teeny bit he’d have possession. Ya gotta want it, bay-bee.

I actually saw him take it hard to the rack and dunk it. I know it is just the preseason but I do not think I saw that at all last year. I just have to keep saying “the glass is half full” stay positive.

I agree with CoolDMZ that it looks more like Watson is taking a shot instead of grabbing a rebound. However, the fact that Miller never jumps higher than 6 inches off the floor means a smaller guy always has the potential to “play bigger” than Miller. And I also agree with Ursula that Miller often seems to lack the desire to rebound. Check out Marty Mac’s take on the Kings in today’s Bee in which he talks about Miller’s weak rebounding game.

Yeah they did win the game, so they got that going for them. I’ll stay positive too… Artest could have that breakout year.

Artest could have that breakout year. Or he might be too busy walking and feeding his dogs to train.
