Angie, first of all I have nothing against Julie. I was just commenting on how I didn’t think she was a very good reporter. That is my opinion. You on the other hand sound like a child. You don’t know how to write, everything you write is a big run on sentence with a bunch of commas and mis-spelled words. If you like Julie, fine, then do yourself a favor and limit your comment to a simple sentence like.. “I think Julie was a good reporter.” You are just upset because I am pointing out the fact that you can’t write. I think you should look at yourself before you call anyone else stupid.

OK Everyone,
So I’ve been watching Julie Durda as the new traffic reporter at KPHO, in Phoenix, and all I can say is, “Couldn’t they do any better?” I know she’s new to the valley, but she is still mis-pronouncing street names that she mis-pronounced the week before. Maybe she just isn’t a quick learner. Their previous traffic reporter, Eric, obviously had much more experience, years more, and knew the valley so much better than any other traffic reporter in town. He was funny as well. This new girl shows no personality, whatsoever, and always looks like a deer caught in the headlights, every time she’s in front of the camera. What did she cost KPHO, $20,000 a year, if that? Maybe that’s all the station was willing to shell out for the traffic reporter position. But then again, you get what you pay for. She reminds me of someone who just graduated from college, working at some small station like Eureka, CA. God knows everyone on local television news there is terrible. This, I know, because I lived there. Maybe if Julie were better looking, she’d be easier to stomach, but she just isn’t. Advice to Julie; How old are you honey, 25, 26? Go to a smaller city, like Yuma and get some experience. Your lack of confidence and knowledge about the business shows. You may think you’ve got it made by working in a big city, but you’ve got a long way to go. Also, get a new make-up artist. The skin on your face is a strange color that lies somewhere between orange and copper, very unnatural.

You don’t *always* have to start in a small market, PHX critic…ESPECIALLY with traffic and ESPECIALLY if you’ve been an NFL cheerleader. Sal Casteneda is the best TV traffic reporter in SF and he didn’t start in a small market. But he’s naturally talented. The reason Julie didn’t have to go to a small market is becuase of the T&A thing.

We just lost the hottest weather girl ever (Elita Loresca) here in the Miami market and read she is being replaced by this Julie person. Doesn’t sound good from what I read so far. I watch the 7 news here in FL every morning since I discovered Julie. I have to admit that she could say just about anything and I wouldn’t notice anyway. I am always so distracted by looking at her that I wouldn’t really notice if she just grunted the weather.

End result: I never have any idea what the weather is going to be until I get to my computer, and I love the great eye candy.

I think it’s safe to say we got the better end of the deal.
