Mike Dunne Falls for Thai Food Trap

I laughed out loud when I saw Mike Dunne’s writeup of our old friends at Ruen Thai.  What particularly stuck out was this little gem:

The name rang a bell. I get more phone calls and e-mails about this or that exciting Thai restaurant than for any other kind of place, and over the past year a disproportionate number have been about Ruen Thai.

And yes, Mike had the soup.

  1. Ah, I got a good laugh out of that (it was literal enough for me).

You know what’s absolutely worth visiting in the Eureka Ridge Plaza? Cinn City. Their Cinnamon Rolls make Cinnabon taste like that off-brand Cinnamon Toast Crunch Albertson’s crack marketing team dubbed “Indeterminate Cinnamon Oblongs.”

Not only are the buns great, but the owner’s a sweetheart. Talk her up, tell her where you’re from, and I’m guessing she’ll give you at least one for free.
