  1. I went and tried this. Unfortunately, unlike other beverages, I really don’t have the skills to be able to properly judge the coffee in relation to other coffees and be able to describe why it is superior. The tasting notes really helped, as I am used to picking out certain flavors in wine and beer but not quite sure how to identify them in coffee.

A few reactions, however. “Yum” is the main one. The other is that I was surprised at the complexity of the flavors and how much there was going on in this one cup. There were tons of floral flavors wrapped up in the earthiness and a lovely chocolate and berry undertone to the whole thing. The floral notes are what really got me, as I’m not used to getting things in coffee that remind me of lavender, lemonbalm and jasmine. Really impressive.
