Midtown Cocktail Week kicked off last night with a ladies cocktail celebration at The Shady Lady and a Punch Bowl Bunco Party at Restaurant THIR13EN. Today will feature a punch bowl competition between local mixologists at Red Lotus and an an after party at Blue Cue.
Man, these people can drink.

I am especially looking forward to the molecular gastronomy demonstration at Lounge on 20, which Atique Rahman told me will feature a science fair to show innovations in high tech cocktails. Then you get to drink what you learned. For science!
