I think the preferred nomenclature for the campaign is the hipped up “KJFM” rather than the spelled out “Kevin Johnson for Mayor.”

The question: do you want an ineffectual, boring and not especially charismatic mayor who pretty spends half her time wasting money on “environmental” junkets, or do you want a rich guy endorsed by one of the most corrupt pro-developer city councilmen / past mayors of all time?

Not being terribly fond of either candidate, and a legal resident of the City so I can vote in the mayor’s race. (Early and often, as they say in Chicago.)
I’m wondering if perennial candidate/bail bondsman/bounty hunter Leon Padilla will be running? (I don’t think he’s declared to date, but don’t imagine that he would disinclined to mount a well-financed write-in campaign.) Oh, was that a double negative??? ;(
I think it’s time we had a bounty hunter run the town…heck, we have a former action star as governor!
