The current issue of the News & Review features Sacwiki.org, the newly launched wiki site from the guys who made Daviswiki.org. This should be a swell resource for useful and questionable information about our fair city.
Other than reading Wikipedia, I have never been a big wiki guy myself, so I don’t know the etiquette… is it typical to create a new page about your “thing” or is that a no-no?
I think whoever developed the Sacwiki page must be vegetarian as they have more veggie restaurants listed than any other kind.

Melly: Of COURSE the Sacwiki is maintained by veggieheads! The Sac Wiki is provided by the same dupes who created the Davis Wiki. They’re trying to be the “next big thing”, but they’re failing miserably becauuse they stifle free speech and are constantly vandalized.

Hi Folks, I’m one of the co-founders of SacWiki.org. The site is all about community. Anyone can add and edit the content there. If you think there is a slant to vegetarian restaurants listed on the site, create an account and write about your favorite places! Also, I want to point out that we don’t censor what people write on the site and we’ve had few problems with vandalism.
