  1. I am taking advantage of my first truly free weekend in more than 2 months.

13 wineries in Amador County will be participating in Italian Wine Roads Weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Wineries will feature food, barrel tastings, music, educational seminars and discounts. I love me some Foothill Sangiovese and Barbera, see you on Saturday if you do, too.

Saturday night, I will also be seeing local hippy band Deadlocke at the Fox and Goose.

Sunday is the Woodland Hot Rod Reunion Car and Cycle Show. I dig the classic cars, but am mainly going to see local honkeytonkers Stars and Garters.

  2. Ah, good taste. Convergence is my cousin’s place, so we’ll be there for a while. Ask Steve and Jamie if the Scott family is around, I’ll be there with my folks and my brother. Or ask the 30-something guys if they are “Stickie and on the Rag” and see what reaction you get. 🙂

  3. Stickie & CSI Sac: You two should recognize each other from this past Saturday’s tasting at Rail Bridge Cellars.
